Prismatic Bell Shade

A true prismatic shade in clear glass manufactured for us in Europe.

This is an original design from the C19th Holophane catalogue of light shades originally developed for gas lighting. The carefully designed ribs are effectively prisms that manipulate the transmitted light to refract more light downwards. It is cast in heavy glass and is a sophisticated and robust shade.

This shade is designed to be used with a 2 1/4in gallery.
