Herbert Terry Anglepoise 1227 1950s

A fantastic example of a post war Herbert Terry Anglepoise. Developed during, then released at the end of, the war this is from the 1950s. Originally supplied painted gloss black this one still retains evidence of, at least, 2 further repaints applied over the intervening years. The paint is scuffed, peeled and flaking but has, to a large extent, been stabilised with an application of beeswax to retain all of its history. It still has its Crabtree Bakelite bulb holder and Bakelite MK plug. The fabric covered electrical cable has been replaced with a period correct coloured modern example.
