A solid, good sized, plain and simple iron letterplate in a black 'just-left-the-forge' finish. The plate measures just short of 12 inches long by 4 ¼ inches wide and the hinged and sprung flap is 9 inches by 2 ¼ inches. The fixing bolts are about 10 ¾ inches apart. This is another item available exclusively from us.

This product is supplied as 'just-left-the-forge' and then hot dipped in wax. As such, the finish is 'live' and will require maintenance if further oxidation is not required. Application of a thin coat of beeswax furniture polish is recommended as is a regular wipe with a light oil such as 3-in-1.
