Toilet Paper Holder Polished Brass "GR"

Cast from an original we bought some years ago. It is decorated with the insignia G(eorge) R(ex) V, celebrating the reign of George the Fifth of England who was on the throne from 1910 to 1936. Although our example was found in a private house we have been told on several occasions by visitors to our shops that they remember these items in the officer latrines in British army barracks.
