A solid, good sized, plain and simple iron letterplate in a black 'just-left-the-forge' finish. The plate measures just short of 12 inches long by 4¼ inches wide and the hinged and sprung flap is 9 inches by 2¼ inches. The fixing bolts are about 10¾ inches apart.
